This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, passionate, and motivated Sustainability Engineer to join our world-leading sustainability team at our office in Hong Kong, to work on the design of some of the most exciting sustainable design projects in Hong Kong and regionally. We expect all team members to aim to go well beyond industry standards to positively impact every project we work on.

As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, and working closely with colleagues across multiple offices, you will inspire, analyse, report, model ESD projects and liaise with clients with the aim of expanding the sustainability portfolio, in line with Cundall’s Zero Carbon Design 2030 Target.

You will ideally have experience in a similar role working in ESD consulting in the built environment and be looking to take the next step in your career and increase your client exposure, job management, and leadership qualities.

Your work will span all sectors and potentially offer a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to influence, and in some cases lead, our national capabilities, and processes, based on the level of experience already gained in the industry.

• Engineering, Architecture, or built environment related degree.
• 3-5 years of ESD consulting experience in the built environment sector.
• Experience on passive design simulation for daylight, solar, wind, and energy modelling would be preferred.
• You will have excellent knowledge in green rating systems Green Mark, LEED, WELL, etc, and have a passion for creative and intuitive design.
• Developed knowledge of engineering and architectural principles to analyse and interpret documentation and drawings.
• Possess a body of knowledge that allows you to evaluate ESD attributes and opportunities within designs, and where improvements are required (mechanical, façade, spatial, etc)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment.
