The Team

The role is to support, track and help reporting Cundall’s journey towards net zero emissions and the implementation of our wider Sustainability Strategy. This includes our operational target to reach net zero emissions by 2050 and our ZCD 2030 commitment for all our design projects as well other environmental and social objectives. The Sustainability Coordinator works closely with our internal teams on setting up data collection processes, management and tracking systems for both operational data and project-specific information.

Based on the data collection, the Sustainability Coordinator also plays a key role in our annual reporting including our Sustainability Report and ratings like CDP and UN Global Compact and can be involved in internal and external communications including workshops, webinars, blogs and other means of engagement.

We’re flexible on where the best person for this role could be located so have opened this up to applications to be based in the following locations; Bengaluru, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore or Perth Australia.

The Role

  • Sustainability data collection across our business, projects and our approx. 30 offices worldwide
  • Setting up systems to improve our data quality and quantity as well as data management processes
  • Working with our internal knowledge share and IT team to monitor Cundall’s sustainability performance and communicate progress to the wider business
  • Working on the implementation of our decarbonisation roadmap to reach our 2030 and 2050 net zero targets
  • Working closely with the ESG Director and our internal teams on our annual disclosure, including our Sustainability Reports, Greenhouse Gas reporting and other frameworks like CPD and UN Global Compact
  • Being involved in supplier engagement and other activities

The Skills

  • Ability to manage and analyse data
  • Ability to present data and complex information in a concise and non-technical manner
  • Basic sustainability literacy understanding key environmental issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and engage with a number of internal stakeholders
  • Appetite to learn new concepts and skills
  • Creativity in developing new ideas, tools and processes

Education and accreditations

  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, sustainable development or related field. Or equivalent live experience.
  • Experience in sustainability or related field

Preferable but not mandatory requirements

  • Experience within the built environment sector
  • Experience with any of the following frameworks/standards/rating tools: UN Global Compact, Science Based Targets, CDP and/or Ecovardis
  • Understanding of social value concepts and frameworks
