The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer who is looking to find that balance of technical delivery and client-focus, to join the team at our London office. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions for some exciting building projects in the UK and Worldwide.
You would be working on a variety of projects working with leading developers and clients. We’re looking for people who have experience in any of these sectors; commercial offices, both refurbishment and new-build, schools and education, hospitality, and large transport hubs and or redevelopments. We’re currently working on several commercial offices with the remit to remodel and decarbonise and, continue to deliver CAT B fitout to some of London’s prime office space for our blue-chip clients. Recent new projects include a new-build major transport hub, a new-build Passivhaus secondary school and new offices in central London.
You will use your wealth of expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers, share new ideas and maintain solid relationships with our clients.
You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and will be supported towards Chartership if you are not a chartered engineer.
The Skills
Educated to degree level in Electrical / Building Services Engineering, and with a minimum of five years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role within a building services context (electrical distribution and power generation, lighting design, security systems etc), you have an extensive portfolio of experience demonstrating your familiarity with high quality engineering solutions and a client-focussed approach.
In your most recent position, you have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple projects and less experienced engineers to exceed client expectations. Ideally, you will possess sound knowledge of Revit and have proven experience for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.
Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication and time management skills are essential.
