Cundall engineering team are the technical heart of the business, to translate client challenges into robust solutions. we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. You will lead a team of electrical engineers and designers to deliver work on projects, studies and proposals across the project lifecycle including Feasibility, Concept and Detailed Design.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Electrical Building Services expert to join our team at our office in Manchester, to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the UK, Ireland and internationally.

Working across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Leisure, Healthcare and Retail you will lead a team of engineers and technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

The Skills

You will develop new and nurture existing client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

  • Responsibility for electrical discipline technical input for projects and/or proposals; including preparation, checking and/or approval of engineering documentation.
  • A proven record of accomplishment in lead engineering project roles with responsibility for discipline scope; (change identification; budget & schedule, scheduling, and resource supervision).
  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Preparing equipment and materials specifications for LV switchboards, VFDs, Motors, Generators, UPS systems, power factor correction, trace-heating, lighting, and other electrical equipment
  • Champions Sustainability Safety, Health, and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
  • Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
  • Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
