This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team in Doha to work on some of the most exciting construction and design projects in the Middle East and worldwide. Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors.

Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers this wide-ranging role will require you to carry out detailed Mechanical Building Services engineering design and analysis, defining and translating clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and building services with sustainability at the forefront of the design. You will also have the opportunity for monitoring the construction works on site as the project progresses.

You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and supported through relevant accredited professional development programmes.

Accredited with a MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, you have a real interest in sustainable Building Services design and analysis for the built environment, and crucially - have a passion for creative and intuitive design as well as a thirst for personal development and career progression.

Requirements

• Qatar UPDA Grade A, QCDD Certified and experience of working in the Middle East is highly preferred.

• Educated to degree level in mechanical engineering or building services engineering, with relevant experience in both site supervision and design roles within a building services consultancy (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, Public health, fire protection etc. other systems).

• Good knowledge of HAP, Elite and Revit softwares

• You have a solid understanding of the relevant industry codes and good practice, have experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, and have proven ability in both overseeing and producing creative, sustainable, and intuitive design solutions.

• Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and programme management skills are essential.
