Cundall's focus is on designing low-energy, sustainable schools across the globe which will both minimise the impact on the environment and be a more enjoyable place in which to work and learn.

Cundall has experience in all areas of education:

  • primary schools to universities,
  • local authority and private finance initiatives (PFI) projects
  • church schools and city academies
  • international education buildings.

We offer a multi-disciplinary service, which allows us to deliver an effective strategy commencing at the planning stages right through to the construction and subsequent operation and maintenance of the building. We also include value-added specialisms such as acoustics, traffic and environmental impact studies, IT and communications, lighting design and transportation.

Many education establishments have limited budgets to maintain their buildings. We understand the full operating and lifestyle costs associated with a school building and introduce features that will minimise their operating costs. We future-proof our buildings by ensuring that they are flexible enough to accommodate changes as both technology needs and the curriculum.

When creating successful educational establishments, the needs and requirements of the students are at the heart of our design. By working in partnership with all stakeholders, our design solutions add value, promote sustainable design and create optimal learning environments.
