Grey Global currently occupies the 6000m2 office space within the newly refurbished Johnson Building.
The designs revolutionised the way in which personnel occupy space and included pitch rooms, highly populated open plan areas and communication facilities.
All environmental aspirations were delivered within the base build displacement ventilation system, which had to be modelled to account of the high population as usage of the space. This involved detailed analysis of population trends and strategies to deal with hot desking operatives.
The fit-out included the consolidation of a number of Grey Global offices over 4 floors, and included a brand new entrance created specifically for Grey Global staff and clients
Along with pitch rooms, edit suites areas and localised communications rooms, the new environment successfully reflected Grey Global's image and business aspirations as market leaders in their sector.
Grey Global are part of the global marketing / advertising company WPP Group and as part of their relocation to the Johnson Building, detailed negotiation with the Landlord was necessary to facilitate a number of the modification required for Grey Global.
High resilient comms facilities were incorporated with the mechanical and electrical solutions driven through with the Grey Global ITC team. Connectivity with the other global operations was key.
