Cundall provided concept ESD consultancy services for this exciting new 400+ room student accommodation development in the heart of Sydney designed to meet best practice sustainable design standards.
In terms of sustainability, the project focused on energy efficiency, indoor environment quality, water efficiency and embodied energy. The building has been designed to provide high levels of natural light and ventilation to the apartments, with passive shading designed in response to environmental conditions.
The replacement and decentralisation of the Palace Green district heating system which provided heating and hot water from a central boiler house located in Hatfield College.
This major redevelopment of the Gippsland Institute of TAFE’s Chadstone Campus which will be transformed to provide a flexible and tailored, training environment for the utility industry. The three new buildings have achieved 5 Star Green Star EducationV1 Rating.
