Cundall provided building services and fit-out to turn this early 20th century warehouse into flexible office suites that can be let on a floor by floor basis, as small, individual units, or combined to allow larger open plan spaces to be utilised.
The revived spaces quickly attracted a diverse mix of creative tenants who took advantage of the possibilities offered by the design's industrial look and feel. Cundall was further involved in the fit-out of three floors in one third of the building (60,000 ft2) for Mother, a cutting-edge London advertising agency. Among their requirements were a large, racing track shaped concrete work table on one floor and a wireless ICT & AV installation for all occupants. As well as flexible work space, the Tea Building offers galleries, communal areas, a hotel, a members’ club and restaurants, adding another dimension of creativity and diversity to the building. 24 - 28 Bloomsbury Way is occupied by a number of WPP companies who all have a diverse range of fit-out requirements within the 4,000m2 space and the need to capture them at an early stage was integral to providing a seamless transition from Cat A to Cat B.
Grey Global currently occupies the 6000m2 office space within the newly refurbished Johnson Building.
