Pridham Hall will be a one-stop shop for students and the local community, featuring a multi-purpose indoor sporting facility including a swimming pool as well as accommodating over 2,000 students and guests for graduation ceremonies, exams, corporate and cultural events.

Sitting alongside UniSA’s Jeffrey Smart Building and near a new student accommodation block on Hindley Street, Pridham Hall’s architecturally expressive design will continue to transform Adelaide’s West End and enhance the vibrancy of the City West campus. The facility will be a public drawcard and attract the South Australian Health and Biomedical Precinct’s growing population.

Cundall’s contribution to the project included; investigation of cost implications and lifecycle analysis of ESD initiatives and alternatives (including photovoltaics), daylight modelling, development of project specific sustainability benchmarking criteria, and transparent assessment and reporting of sustainable project outcomes.

Cundall has also prepared an energy model for Pridham Hall to estimate the likely greenhouse gas emissions and operating costs. Cundall's energy simulation model was used to add value by; demonstrating the design complies with UniSA's emissions targets, forecasting of anticipated operational energy costs, and will assist with ongoing building tuning activities.
