Home of the iconic brand’s production, JLR’s Castle Bromwich plant covers 110 acres, employs around 3,200 people and is currently the sole Jaguar plant.

This new 60,000m2 manufacturing facility for Jaguar Land Rover sees the replacement of the Second World War facility and provides its employees with a modern, safer, highly-automated, energy-efficient and flexible place of work. This new facility will provide Body in White and final trim and assembly facilities for both the Jaguar XJ and XF models.

Working with Briggs and Forrester Ltd, Cundall provided the detailed mechanical, electrical and plumbing designs for this BREEAM ‘Very Good’, EPC ‘B’ facility. Cundall has brought their excellent knowledge and experience in the automotive engineering and the industrial sector to deliver an efficient, affordable and flexible design.

The project was delivered on a Category A basis with high level services being provided for the entire production facility together with the internal cores. Jaguar Land Rover fitted out their Body in White manufacturing processes following on from practical completion.
