The Hulton Square development comprises a compact layout of 250 apartments in Greater Manchester, including the associated services, highways and a park.
The inner-city Ordsall district is undergoing a programme of extensive regeneration, of which Hulton square is a major component, including new highways, schools, leisure facilities, retail, a hotel and the refurbishment of Ordsall Hall. The site has a legacy of earlier development, including redundant services, deep sewers and contaminated land.
An important element of the scheme was to use vibro-piles to strengthen the ground below so that conventional strip foundations could be utilised.
The River Quarter II is an 11-storey mixed-use building forming part of the regeneration of Sunderland city centre. The ground and first floors comprise a large bowling emporium and a café/bar.
The Stella South residential development, now known as Riverside is a 14Ha housing development. Upon completion the development will provide 522 residential units as well as considerable areas of public open space and a riverside walkway.
Riverside Park is the redevelopment of a 37-hectare brownfield site on the south bank of the River Wear. The scheme is set to provide 1,200 residential units, a 10,000m² retail centre, a hospice and a junior school, with associated infrastructure including a riverside walk and extensive parkland.
