Eden Court is the largest arts centre in Scotland. Its redevelopment increased main auditorium capacity and established a smaller theatre and two new cinemas. Other aspects of the redevelopment included landscaping works and upgrading of the historic Bishop's Palace.
Eden Court was one of the first buildings in Scotland to use stack-assisted natural ventilation to reduce energy consumption and cut operating costs. The use of solar panels for the provision of hot water to the kitchens and showers was another sustainable element of the design.
