Crimson Hill residential development by Defence Housing Australia (DHA) consists of five precincts situated on a rare site overlooking the Lane Cove National Park. Once completed it will comprise 345 new dwellings, a new artificial sports field and community centre.
Cundall was appointed as the ESD consultants for the precinct, co-ordinated the EnviroDevelopment certification during the early design and construction stages. We worked closely with the whole design team to ensure that all six elements of the EnviroDevelopment were considered and documented for the whole site and the buildings within.
The development achieved all 6 ‘leaves’ under EnviroDevelopment covering the following elements: ecosystems, waste, energy, materials, water and community. This reflects DHA’s intent to create an environmentally sustainable community at Lindfield.
Cundall is also the ESD consultant for Crimson Hill’s flagship building which is currently aiming to achieve a 5 Star Green Star – Multi Unit Residential rating.
This large residential led mixed-use development will house 815 apartments with associated retail outlets.
Constructed on a former school site which overlooks the ocean, Mark Moran Vaucluse is destined to become the leading and most innovative Aged Care and Seniors Living Facility in Australia.
The Stella South residential development, now known as Riverside is a 14Ha housing development. Upon completion the development will provide 522 residential units as well as considerable areas of public open space and a riverside walkway.
