This project has 2,856m² of office space, accommodates 140 staff members who were formerly spread around Alice Springs in five separate offices. It was one of the first building in Alice Springs to achieve Green Star rating, achieving a 4 Star Green Star -Office Design v2.
The building provides office space, conference facilities, a resource centre, staff function areas, internal courtyard and atrium spaces, fire proof archive stores, secure under cover fleet vehicle parking, lock up bike storage, locker and shower facilities, and a water-wise, natively landscaped site, with pedestrian paths linking informal outdoor meeting areas.
Cundall provided ESD consultancy, including energy, thermal comfort, daylight and glare modelling and optimisation, and managed the Green Star submission process.
The global headquarters of Lendlease, 30 The Bond in Sydney, is the first central business district building in Australia to be rated 5 Stars under the Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (now known as NABERS).
In 2012, Leichhardt Council became the second council in NSW to achieve carbon neutrality. Cundall were appointed to produce an Energy Management Plan to be incorporated into the Leichhardt Council Climate Change Strategy.
Waverley Court, the headquarters for The City of Edinburgh Council, was procured as a commercially let development. The key objective was to create a landmark building which would demonstrate environmental excellence in all aspects of design and function, with exceptional levels of accessibility.
