Cundall provided mechanical, electrical and lighting design for landlord Hortons’ Estate at our Birmingham home, 15 Colmore Row.
Hortons’ Estate has invested £1million in the upgrade of the 4-storey building along with the redevelopment of the adjacent Grand Hotel. The works have seen a bright, fresh, welcoming reception completed along with façade clean and second floor refurbishment. The second floor improvements have seen the 7,227ft² (671m²) office suite design include new toilet and shower facilities and a new heating and cooling system.
The building is currently occupied by accountancy firm Dains, property/construction practice Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) and Cundall. Cundall has worked with co-tenant, RLB on this redevelopment, assisting with the delivery of the project.
Richard Norgrove, property director at Hortons’ Estate, said: “Our investment in both 15 Colmore Row and The Grand will considerably enhance the street scene along Colmore Row, Birmingham’s premier business address.”
