Cundall has recently been involved with the design of Tim Lamb Children's Centre, a centre for disabled children through a local charity ‘Pathways 4 all’.
The project involved the refurbishment of a disused building to provide ‘Pathways 4 all’ with a centre that could be a meeting point for local disabled children and their families.
The children’s centre is named after Tim Lamb, who was heavily involved with the charity up until his sudden death early last year. Cundall has worked alongside Tim for many years before his death, for projects such as the redevelopment of Eldon Square and the Metro Centre in Newcastle.
We have worked very closely with the charity in order to provide a design that would be of benefit to the users of the facility. The team even got involved in helping with the decorating!
The Tim Lamb Children's Centre will appear on ‘Construction Squad – Operation Homefront’ on Friday 30th August at 8pm. The programme will see the old hospital building transforming into an amazing children’s centre.
