Cundall’s Warsaw office has moved to a larger space in the city to accommodate our continued growth in Poland. The new office is located in the city centre with easy access to lots of transport links. It is the first Cundall office to include a rooftop terrace which overlooks Chmielna pedestrian walk.
The open plan office is on the fifth (top) floor of the recently refurbished building and includes a reception area, an open space layout, two meeting rooms, shower facilities, bright kitchen with a dining table for staff to enjoy lunch together and access to the terrace.
The new space is double the size of Cundall’s previous location and will greatly improve the working environment. Key features of the office include excellent access to natural daylight and good air quality. When selecting a new office, sustainability, health and wellbeing were a key part of the process. A WELL Building Standard assessment was conducted to assess the space and enable us to know the requirements to pursue accreditation in the future. This meant that we could ensure that the furniture, lighting, carpet and ventilation system were compliant.
In order to reduce our environmental impact, we have recycled furniture from the former tenant such as desks, chairs and meeting room fit-out as these were in good condition. New shelves and frames are made out of untreated wood while the remaining furniture has been salvaged when possible and will be given a new lease of life.
Wojtek Stec, Director and office lead in Poland, commented, “With the relocation of the Warsaw office, Cundall Poland evolves into a multi-disciplinary engineering practice firmly established in the local market. The new office will give us a new momentum for growth and greatly improve the working environment for staff.”
The move will allow the Warsaw office to keep developing it’s offering in the area of building services engineering (MEP), sustainable design (ESD), building modelling and structural design. The larger space will also enable us to develop our range of services in building information modelling (BIM), controls and building management services (BMS), fire protection, civil engineering, specialist role in LEED, BREEAM, WELL certifications and parametric modelling.
Steve Cook, Partner, commented, “The progress of the Warsaw office has continued since the last office move in November 2016 with both the expansion of the teams and the service offering. We are hugely proud of the clients we have worked for and the projects delivered over the last few years. We hope to continue working on the exciting projects in Poland from this wonderful new office space and location.”
To celebrate the office move, we will be having a warming party on Tuesday 4 June. Please get in touch with Iwona Tworowska, firstname.lastname@example.org, for more information.
As of 1 April, the new address for the Warsaw office is, Chmielna 19 Street, 00-021 Warsaw, Poland.
