Sharon Kidaha, Graduate Building Services Engineer, has been shortlisted in the CIBSE Young Engineer’s Awards 2017.
This prestigious annual awards scheme brings together the CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year award, which is now in its 22nd year and the CIBSE Employer of the Year award, now in its 9th year.
These awards aim to recognise and reward the innovative thinking, hard work and skills of graduate engineers, whilst also showcasing and championing employers - large and small - who are truly committed to developing and encouraging young talent.
Andy Bishop, Associate Director, commented; “The CIBSE Young Engineer’s Awards celebrate the achievements and successes of young professionals in the industry. It is fantastic that Sharon has been shortlisted and I look forward to seeing her presentation.”
Sharon commented; “I saw the competition as a chance to put myself out there with what I have achieved so far with Cundall and take further advantage of the opportunities created to encourage early career professionals within the building services industry. I look forward to meeting the stellar graduates nominated from various companies around the world.”
We wish Sharon and all the other shortlisted entries the best of luck at the awards evening being held on the 12 October 2017 held at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
