SAHMRI achieves LEED Gold Certification – an Australian first Share this article

The South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute in Adelaide has been certified as a LEED Gold building.

This achievement is thanks to the hard work of the whole project team and the commitment of the client to provide a sustainable world-class research facility.  By taking a systematic and whole-of-life approach to building related environmental impacts and human benefits, SAHMRI joins a select group of LEED Gold certified buildings worldwide.

The project represents a number of firsts including the first LEED rated building in SA and the first LEED rated laboratory building in the country.
