LandCorp’s landmark Montario Quarter development in Shenton Park has been recognised as being among the world’s leading master-planned developments in its approach to sustainability, after being recognised as a 6-Star Green Star Communities precinct.

Marcus Kan, Principal Building Services Engineer in Singapore, has attained his Accredited Tier Design (ATD) certification at Uptime Institute recently. He is the seventh Cundall engineer to receive this accreditation, and the third in Cundall Asia. We are pleased to congratulate Marcus’s achievement.

The Chinese University Hong Kong Medical Centre (CUHKMC) has been awarded finalist status in New Buildings category: Projects Under Construction and/or Design – Commercial Building at the Green Building Award 2019.

Planning permission has been granted for a leisure-focused shipping container site in Seaburn, Sunderland. 

Cundall selects the ASIS International Certification program for its entire global security consultancy team to demonstrate knowledge, competence and professionalism at all levels.

Cundall is providing structural, civil engineering and BREEAM services on the prestigious redevelopment of The All England Lawn Tennis Club’s (AELTC) Somerset Road Covered Courts. Alongside Hopkins Architects Ltd, Cundall is working for the AELTC on the project which will help ensure The Championships, Wimbledon continues to hold its position as the finest stage in world tennis.

The University of Newcastle and Northumbria have been awarded an £8m grant from Research England’s Expanding Excellence in England fund to establish the world’s first research hub for biotechnology in the built environment.

Cundall has secured an exciting win at the North West Regional Construction Awards 2019. Corn Exchange Phase II has been awarded the Preservation and Rejuvenation Award. The award recognises the construction’s industry care for preservation, conservation and rejuvenation of historic and listed building.

Cundall joins 31 structural and 10 building services engineering practices who have signed the declaration and made their commitment to engineering outcomes that have a more positive impact on the world around us. The Engineers declaration acknowledges that buildings and the construction industry accounts for nearly 40% of energy related carbon dioxide emissions and has significant impact on our natural habits.
