Cundall has announced the appointment of three new Partners within its global leadership team as it moves into 2021. The addition of Barbara Sacha in London, Alex Carter in Birmingham and Lee French in Dubai, brings the number of Partners in the business to 47, strengthening its existing leadership team, and paving the way for continued growth in the year ahead.

Cundall has been named winners at the Data Center Dynamics (DCD) Awards 2020.

Cundall’s Head of Knowledge Management, Rory Huston, has been certified as the UK’s second MCLIP Chartered Knowledge Manager by the UK Library and Information association (CILIP). Rory is the second person to be awarded the new charted status.

Cundall has expanded its sustainability offering with the appointment of former UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) net zero lead, Richard Twinn.

Burwood Brickworks Shopping Centre in Melbourne has been named as the ‘Best of the Best’ and the winner of the Commercial Architecture (Large) category in the 2020 Sustainability Awards, an epitome of a project that pushed sustainability in the architecture and design industry to new frontiers.

‘Cura’ is Grosvenor’s latest net zero ready development in Ginza, Japan with 13-storey retail and office space. It will be one of Japan’s first net zero ready commercial high-rise buildings equipped with onsite solar energy. It is also Grosvenor's first net zero ready development in APAC. Cundall’s sustainability team in Hong Kong is providing sustainable design and net zero carbon consultancy for this project.

Cundall collected the award for brownfield redevelopment project of the year at the Ground Engineering Awards 2020.
