In the past three months Cundall has seen three of its projects in China achieve LEED Platinum ratings. These are
- HK Science Park Phase 3 - LEED CS Platinum
Phase 3 will offer the 150 businesses located there one of the best R&D eco-systems in the region for developing and commercialising their products
- Lend Lease Shanghai - LEED CI Platinum
This new 1,000m² office provides multinational property and infrastructure company Lend Lease with a modern flexible environment for its staff.
- Quintiles Shanghai - LEED CI Platinum
This new 4,200 m² office provides biopharmaceutical firm Quintiles with their regional headquarters and will accommodate 450 employees.
“Although administered by the Green Building Council in the US, the Green Rating LEED is an internationally recognised green building certification system.” explains Julian Bott, Director of China “In the past couple of years we have seen an trend of international corporations using this rating as a way of benchmarking their buildings across the globe. This combined with projects who are wanting to showcase their sustainable credentials on a global scale has resulted in a big increase in LEED accredited projects in Asia”
Cundall has over 20 LEED accredited professionals and has delivered over 40 LEED rated projects in ten different countries.
