Cundall named winner at Building Awards 2013 Share this article

Cundall was named the winner of the ‘Cut the Carbon Award’ at the Building Awards 2013. The Building Awards is established by Building magazine and it is the industry’s most celebrated business networking event in the built environment calendar.

‘Cut the Carbon Award’ is rewarded to those who have embraced the low carbon agenda and invested in the training and skills needed to deliver a low carbon built environment. The judges praised Cundall’s clear strategy for its comprehensive corporate approach.

David Clark, Sustainability Partner said, “It’s a fantastic recognition of all the hard work that we have put in over the last 4 years to really try and make a difference in the built environment. The support from all the partners and the staff across the business has helped us to achieve that.”

David Dryden, Managing Partner added, “We are delighted to have been awarded the Cut the Carbon Award. A key aspect of our service is to provide low energy design for site infrastructure, new buildings and improving existing buildings in the UK and overseas. This award has acknowledged all the effort and training we have put in to developing our low carbon skills as a practice.”

Cundall is the first consultants to be endorsed as One Planet Company by BioRegional. For more information about Cundall's sustainability policy and roadmap, please click here.
