In 2010, Cundall launched an open source industry learning initiative called Collaborative Future which has seen a number of resources being shared throughout the industry. Through this Cundall assembled a team, provided project management and design input to enter the Zero Carbon Challenge- Australia's first zero carbon sustainable house competition.
This Collaborative Future approach scooped both the People's Choice and Overall winner for the Zero Carbon Challenge which will now see our design come to life. From here the team will proceed with planning and development approval. Construction is expected to commence within months and be complete later in 2012. The multi-disciplinary team includes Architects TS4, Cost Consultants WT Partnership, and students from the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia.
