As a global business with almost 1000 staff across 21 offices and 10 countries, our position and response has common elements, tailored to local conditions and government requirements.
Our key concern is the health and wellbeing of our staff, and those we interface with in our work, and we are doing everything in our power to protect this, and are communicating with all daily as well as responding to feedback and concerns.
The Cundall response across our global business is to keep business as usual as much as possible, this is primarily to maintain the social aspect of work, which is important in all our lives, and secondly to support business continuity. We currently have almost all our global staff working from home and are working hard to ensure we are protecting their physical as well as their mental health.
All our systems were already set up for teams to be located across offices, countries and continents. This had been tested by every member of Cundall and has allowed us to transition into this change of working practices seamlessly. We use various collaboration software and managers are used to having team members working remotely. This means there has been little change in the way projects are run.
All meetings across our business are now successfully taking place virtually. In situations where Cundall staff need to attend sites we are seeking assurances on a case by case basis that this is totally necessary and can be undertaken safely. At all times we will follow both government guidance, local management procedures and best practice to ensure the health and wellbeing of staff and colleagues.
We continuously monitor the resourcing of our projects and regularly share work between offices so we are in a good place to manage short and long term disruption. Our global office network, which has always worked very closely together, means that we can rely on our colleagues around the world for support, when necessary.
We are monitoring the situation very carefully and have a leadership response team meeting every 24 hours (including our Managing Partner, HR Partner and Global Head of IT).
We are doing all we can to keep safe and also keep delivering for clients and we will work with you, so that together we can work our way through this.
