Cundall Australia are part of a finalist team called ‘Collaborative Future’ in a competition held by The Land Management Corporation. The Zero Carbon Challenge is to design a sustainable three bedroom home for a maximum cost of $300,000, and if won, their design will be built at Lochiel Park in Campbelltown, South Australia.
The challenge was launched in June 2011 and aims to encourage the industry to be innovative and push the boundaries with minimal environmental impact. Cundall and their team, will be offered $10,000 to cover the cost of preparing their final design and in the next stage of the competition will take their initial concepts through to detailed design, costing and calculation of embodied and operating energy.
