In 2016, Cundall is celebrating its 40th birthday and alongside the events and activities that are planned in our offices across the world, we also want to ensure that we give something back to the people, organisations and communities around us.
When the Founding Partners established the business, they were ahead of their time in considering its effects on the environment and local communities we work in. This commitment to responsible and sustainable business practice has continued throughout our 40 year history. To this day it remains one of our core values and as the world’s first consultancy to be endorsed as a One Planet company, we consistently work with our staff, clients and the industry to achieve a sustainable and positive outcome in everything we do.
This year we are pledging a total of 40,000 hours of volunteering to reflect our 40 years in business. With 20 offices taking part in the initiative, we feel it’s a fantastic opportunity to coordinate our existing charitable work and to focus our efforts on really making an impact as a team.
The 40,000 hours campaign kicked off in January with a team from Australia taking part in a project with Collaborative Future Cambodia, helping to build a new school in the village of Krangraluah.
There are a number of other volunteering activities taking place, here are just a few examples:
40,000 hours might seem a daunting challenge but by uniting our efforts we sincerely hope to make a real and lasting impact this year.
