2018 GRESB Assessment Reference Guides and Modules Share this article

On 1 March 2018, Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) published the 2018 Assessment Reference Guides and Modules. Companies are allowed a three-month window to complete their submission between 1 April and 1 July 2018.

We have highlighted three important changes in the 2018 Reference Guide:

Resilience module
Introduced as an optional supplement to Real Estate, Developer, and Infrastructure Assessment. Questions are related to companies’ approaches to tackle climate resilience issues of their real estate portfolios, infrastructure and assets.

Health and Well-being module
Final year of voluntary reporting for the Real Estate or Developer Assessments. Information collected this year, together with the previous two years, will inform the development of material indicators for the full integration in 2019.

Scoring methodology reference
This is the first time the 2017 Real Estate Scoring document is shared as an additional source of information on the Assessment Portal to increase transparency around the assessment.
