Workshop: The Future of Green Buildings, Birmingham, 23 September 2014

For the third year running, Cundall celebrated World Green Building Week (WGBW) and hosted 10 workshops across the world.

The Future of Green Buildings
With ever-tightening thermal requirements we are moving away from traditional forms of fit-out and making use of thermal mass to give free cooling.  Taking the ceilings out may have thermal benefits, but can have dramatic knock-on impacts on working, learning and healing environments. In this workshop, we concentrated on the acoustic impacts of exposed thermal mass and opened the floor to a lively debate asking questions such as: is less really more?

A locally sourced breakfast was delivered by Jacksons Catering.

Presenters: Andrew Parkin & Riccardo Bragoli
Date:  Tuesday 23rd September
Time:  8.00am-10.00am
Venue:  Cundall, 4th Floor, Cathedral Court, 15 Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 2BH
