Panel: Head in the cloud, London, 21 June 2018

Cundall’s Young Engineers Society invites you to a talk on the future concept of cloud-based BIM & REVIT, discussing cloud collaboration and the legality of BIM.

Using the cloud to progress the development of BIM is an inevitable step in the future of design, but with this comes many unknowns, such as: how best to coordinate this online platform and how to manage the legal implications.

Kirsty Hogg, Technical BIM Lead at Cundall, will chair the event and introduce our two speakers:

  • Ives Veelaert, Technical Specialist, Autodesk
  • Sarah Rock, Senior Associate, Gowling WLG (UK) LLP

Ives Veelaert will talk about BIM 360 Design and cloud collaboration. He will be followed by Sarah Rock, who will talk about the legality of BIM. She will give some examples of what she has seen in industry so far. The aim of this discussion is to inform and prepare you for what you will start to experience in practice and instill good working methods from early on.
