Guest speaker: NAWIC The WELL Building Standard, Newcastle, 6 November 2018

Sophie Simpson, Principal Engineer, will be a guest speaker at the NAWIC North East event introducing the WELL Building Standard®.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is an international organisation committed to encouraging individuals to pursue, establish and sustain successful careers in the construction industry.

Sophie Simpson will introduce the WELL Building Standard®; the world’s first building standard focused exclusively on human health and wellness. It marries best practices in design and construction with evidence-based medical and scientific research – harnessing the built environment as a vehicle to support human health and wellbeing. Sophie will also describe Cundall’s experience of delivering the first project in Europe designed in accordance with the WELL Building Standard®, One Carter Lane.
