Guest Speakers: Digital Construction Week, London, 17 October 2019

Edwin Wealend, our Head of Research and Innovation and Rory Huston, Head of Knowledge Management will be speaking at Digital Construction Week on 17 October 2019.

The 2-day event at Excel London, features over 120 hours of free talks focused on innovation, technology, and digital transformation in the built environment, and we are proud to be sharing our story with industry.

Edwin Wealend, will be giving a talk entitled “The parametric engineer – how we enable the optioneering process”. Edwin will describe our journey with visual programming and data at early design stages, with some tangible examples of how we are improving our design process with our clients and design teams.

Rory Huston’s talk “Knowledge is Power: Leveraging 900 minds in our Digital Transformation” focuses on how we have developed our digital programme to bring together our staff across the globe. This practical case study will focus on some of our key successes: our internal webinars, agile working groups and online learning platforms

We are proud to share our practical case studies at DCW to help our industry collectively learn together. We are looking forward to learning about the latest innovations and developments from our colleagues that we can apply in our business to help our mission of transforming our Built Environment for people and planet.
