Guest Speaker: Better Simulation, Better Performance? London, 29 October 2019

Jennifer Elias, Senior Engineer at Cundall, will speak at a joint CIBSE Young Energy Performance Group (YEPG) and Building Simulation Group (BSG) event, ‘Using Simulation to Design for Performance’, on 29 October 2019.

Drawing on her experience in Australia delivering NABERS-rated projects and comparing that with her experience leading the Design for Performance workstream at Cundall in the UK, Jennifer will speak about the lessons the UK can learn from Australia in embedding simulation into the design process.

Cundall was one of the first organisations to become a Pioneer Delivery Partner for the Better Building Partnership’s Design for Performance Project (DfP). The project intends to close the performance gap between the predicted energy consumption at design stage and the building energy consumption in operation. Cundall has first-hand experience in the application of NABERS through our Australian offices where they have NABERS Accredited Assessors and over the past 10 years have undertaken countless NABERS ratings for a wide range of sites and clients. Cundall is committed to bringing the benefits of our Australian NABERS experience to supporting the growth of DfP projects in the UK.

Date: Tuesday 29 October 2019
Time: 18.00 – 20.00
Venue: Hoare Lea, Granary Square, 12-13 Stable Street, London N1C 4AB
