Cobalt Data Centre 1

Cundall was commissioned to design a new data centre in Cobalt Business Park, the data centre was constructed on a speculative basis with the shell completed in August 2010. The building will accommodate four modular tailored data halls each with a power density of 1400W/m2 and will meet a Tier III design.

Cobalt DC2 and DC3 are the first data centres in the UK to achieve a BREEAM 'Outstanding' rating and are developed in line with the end building uses. The buildings complement the first data centre that was completed in August 2010.
