Following up on last year’s Manchester to Birmingham charity bike ride, the Birmingham office decided to aim higher by hosting another cycle ride. This year they took on a bigger challenge by cycling the 100+ mile route from Cambridge to Birmingham on the 30th June 2015. The team was made up of 10 Cundall staff members who were joined by clients and industry professionals aiming to raise £10,000 for the office's chosen charity, Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The team rode the route to Birmingham for much needed funds for the CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) unit. The service is based at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and supports children with physical health problems. This is an integrated service including Psychology, Liaison Psychiatry, Specialist Play and Youth Work. This service is provided to children and young people who are currently being treated for physical health problems at the Children’s Hospital. Our funds will help create a rehabilitation garden including supporting the unit’s activity programme.
We are please to announce the team reached their target with the last count being £14,311! Please visit the JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/BCH2015, all donations will be gratefully received and will go to a fantastic cause.
