Seminar: CDM 2015 - A project in a galaxy far, far away, Newcastle, 25 June 2015

A practical example of CDM 2015 put into practice in a galaxy far, far away…

In this seminar, Warren Dodds talked through the new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 that came into force on April the 6th 2015. The new regulations were retrospectively applied to a project constructed in a galaxy far, far away, and looked at from each member of the duty holders under the CDM Regulations.

The seminar covered:

  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Writing a project brief
  • The Pre-Construction Phase
  • The Construction Phase
  • The Health and Safety File
  • A group discussion on the implementation of the regulations to date

Warren Dodds is Cundall’s CDM Consultant. He has acted as a CDM Coordinator and Principal Designer on over 50 projects since 2008, including educational, pharmaceutical, offices, industrial, energy production, heritage, retail, automotive, ecological, emergency services and data management. Warren is an active member of the Newcastle Construction Safety Group.
