Cundall's Young Engineer Society invited guests to the first event in a series of Cundall Talks. In this session we explored the question of big change or small change and the role of design and engineering in the global environment.
About the speakers
Alan Fogarty heads up Cundall's sustainability group in the UK, specialising in low-energy and sustainable building design. A building services engineer by training, he has gained extensive knowledge of natural ventilation design, passive design techniques and assessment of natural lighting and energy.
Engineers Without Borders UK brings people, ideas and engineering together to deliver solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Their vision is a world where everyone has access to the engineering they need for a life free from poverty. Where engineering is for everyone, everywhere.
