Tim Stidwill

I joined in 2017 to develop Cundall’s technical capability and engineering excellence within the West Midlands and across the UK. I studied Civil Engineering at the University of Warwick and am chartered through the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers. I lead Cundall’s civil, structural, geotechnical and transportation technical community, and have developed a range of company systems to support our delivery teams with their day-to-day work.

I strive to bring excellence into everything I do. In particular, this is through the engineering designs I create, the deliverables produced by the teams I lead, and in the development and communication of low embodied carbon designs.

I’m a passionate advocate for bringing teams together across the globe, both within Cundall and our client team colleagues. I have instigated and led a series of global briefing meetings that encourage my colleagues to talk passionately about their projects and share lessons learned for the benefit of us all.
