Rasti is a chartered structural engineer and has worked on many iconic projects around the world including: London 2012 Olympic Stadium with Populous, Olympic Ceremonies, Queen Alia Airport in Amman with Foster + Partners, KAFD Metro Station in Riyadh with Zaha Hadid Architects. Prior to joining Cundall, Rasti was Associate Director in the London Structures Team at Buro Happold.
He maintains passion for small art projects and was collaborating as structural engineer on Zaha Hadid Architects’ ARUM installation at Venice Architecture Biennale and Crest installation in V&A Museum, Edmund de Waal: Atmostphere at Turner Contemporary and Magdalene Odundo TRANSITION II at James Hockey Gallery, UCA Farnham.
Rasti is also involved with academia and was an external supervisor of master thesis work of two students from Politechnico Di Torino, Italy and two students from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
Rasti’s hobbies are skiing, hiking, attempting surfing and spending time with his family.
