Peter is a Partner working within the Critical Systems team in the London office. Peter has over 19 years post graduate experience in building services engineering design and is typically involved in projects from inception through to final completion.
During his career Peter has undertaken projects within all sectors of the construction industry with a particular focus on mission critical design and large scale data centre developments for numerous blue chip companies.
Peter has been at the forefront of the recent drive towards energy efficient data centre design, designing the multi award winning Free Cooling Wynyard Data Centre for HP in 2008. This experience has proved invaluable as the next generation of free cooling data centres continue to develop and evolve.
Peter presented at the London Region DataCenter Dynamics conference on the Wynyard Data Centre and also at the Institute of Mechanical Engineer’s conference on the viability of Data Centre Free Cooling solutions. More recently Peter presented at Data Centre Dynamics Conference on the subject of WUE at source.
In 2010 Peter was part of a select committee invited by BRE to consult and advise on the refinement of the BREEAM Data Centres accreditation scheme.
