Neil leads Cundall’s Transportation team and has extensive experience in all areas of transportation. Neil has a passion for promoting and delivering sustainable transport solutions within the development planning sector whilst acknowledging the need to balance the use of the private car.
Neil has become well known for his expertise in the methods used to achieve modal shift through planning policy, the production of multi modal trip attractions, and all mode trip distributions through the use of gravity and generalised cost models leading to cost effective and innovative access solutions. Neil has used these techniques in many fields such as development planning, access studies, cycling and walking strategies, access to health, masterplanning and parking strategies.
Outside work, Neil is an international field hockey umpire, a keen cyclist and an active member of local community groups.
