Mark is an experienced air quality consultant. He has over 16 years of wide and extensive technical experience in a variety of applications of air quality assessment, modelling, monitoring and policy and guidance development.
Mark is a full member of the Institute of Air Quality Assessment (IAQM) and Institution of Environmental Science (IES). He has presented technical material to the serval national bodies contributing to Subject Matter Expert (SME) meetings on Air Quality and Transport Modelling, and regularly presents at IAQM, Environmental Protection UK (EPUK) and the ADMS and ADMS-Roads (advanced dispersion modelling) events.
Mark is also a chartered environmentalist, having delivered several large-scale air quality assessments of regional and national importance. These include multiple Smart Motorway initiatives and advising Local Authorities how to support Defra in the delivery of a National Nitrogen Dioxide Action Plan to address failure to comply with European Union’s Air Quality Directive.
He has also successfully represented his clients at several Public Inquiries in the capacity of Expert Witness and has international experience extending in Europe, Africa, MENA and worldwide.
Mark is a father of two and in his spare time he enjoys all-grain brewing and ultra-marathons.
