Based in our London office, Daniel leads Cundall’s building automation specialism.

Daniel is a Controls Specialist Director whose responsibilities include technical design, project supervision & client liaison.  He leads the Building Automation group for building services.

He joined Cundall in April 2007 from Integrated Control Systems Ltd.  During his 16 years in the controls industry, Daniel has worked as contractor and consultant, and consequently experienced many aspects including installation, maintenance, commissioning, design, integration and management roles.

He has developed a thorough knowledge and interest for control system and building management system (BMS) design in order to provide occupants with high levels of comfort whilst encompassing important issues such as cost effective BMS installation, on-going usability, integration and energy management.  He is able to communicate with all members of the team in developing the services environments from design, through construction, to commissioning and finally with the end user.

His particular areas of expertise include integrated control system design (HVAC, lighting control, energy/power management, security, etc) multi BMS and third party vendor integration, energy management, BMS communications design, commissioning and witnessing. His experience within contracting environments, along with working to tight deadlines with clients has allowed him to manage the controls contractors on site, interface with building managers and base teams to the benefit of all concerned.
