Chris leads our Qatar operations and a team of multi-discipline professionals providing design, technical advice and master planning in the built environment.
Chris has been in the property and construction industry for over 30 years, starting work in contracting he joined design consultant ARUP in 1988. He became a Chartered Engineer (EU-UK) in 1995 and joined AECOM in 1999. Chris was a partner at UK consultancy TB+A prior to joining Cundall Qatar. He graduated from London South Bank University in 1991.
Chris’ has a broad range of experience across most industry sectors including offices, education, healthcare, retail and leisure, industrial, defence, airports, residential and many others, working on new-build and refurbishment projects of many kinds and in a technical advisory role. He has worked on all scale and type of projects with many world-renowned clients including the likes of KPMG, Deloitte, British Airways, AIRBUS, Development Securities, BBC, National Health Service (NHS), Shell and many more.
He brings a highly professional approach to quality and customer care on every project with an infectious passion and enthusiasm. He is extremely collaborative and has a strong track record in delivering projects on time, cost and quality, striving to exceed the clients’ expectations.
Chris’ has also served on the panel of the Association of Consulting & Engineering (ACE) in the UK, an advisor to the Welsh Government on the Building Regulations Advisory Committee and is an assessor of applicants for professional membership of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
He has a passion for all things health & well-being and sustainable developments.
Chris has been married to Ruth for over 25 years and has a son Conor. He describes himself as being “sports mad” when younger and was a keen rugby and football player reaching representative levels in both sports. When the rugby and football days came to a natural close Chris’ passion turned to golf and spectator sports.
